FAQs

  • I have chosen to work outside of insurance networks. This allows me to prioritize your care without the restrictions insurance companies often place on diagnosis, treatment, and number of sessions.

  • Sessions are self-pay and payment is due at the time of each session. Accepted forms of payment include Zelle, debit, credit, FSA, and HSA cards (convenience fees apply to card payments).

    Session fees are:

    • Individuals & Couples: $150 per 60-minute session

    • Family Therapy: $175 per 60-minute session

  • Working with a self-pay therapist allows you to:

    • Choose a therapist and approach that best fits your needs

    • Maintain greater privacy over your mental health information

    • Work with someone based on trust and fit, not insurance limitations

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. In most cases, sessions canceled without 24-hour notice will be subject to a partial session fee. Once fees are paid, I’m happy to help you reschedule.

  • I work with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship issues, and self-confidence struggles like overthinking, perfectionism, and anger and trust..

I also support clients navigating midlife and geriatric-related concerns, grief, career or college changes, and school adjustments.

If you’re not sure whether this is the right fit, feel free to reach out—we can talk it through.

  • You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Most people don’t!

If something in your life feels off, that’s usually enough reason to reach out. Therapy isn’t just for crisis situations. It can also be a space to gain clarity, work through patterns, and feel more grounded in your day-to-day life.

If you’re unsure, let’s start with a brief conversation to see if it feels like a good fit.
