Support for Parents and Families
Virtual Therapy in Ohio for Parents Feeling Overwhelmed, Unsure, or Stretched Thin
When Parenting Starts to Feel Heavy
Parenting doesn’t come with a clear roadmap and even when you’re doing your best, it can still feel like something isn’t working.
You can love your child deeply and still feel exhausted, frustrated, or unsure of what to do next. That’s more common than most parents admit.
At some point, many parents find themselves asking questions like:
“Where have I gone wrong?”
“Am I handling this the right way?”
“Why does nothing seem to be working?”
“Is this normal—or should I be more concerned?”
When those thoughts start to build, it can feel defeating—especially when you’re trying so hard to get it right.
Support That Focuses on You as the Parent
You don’t need more generic advice. You need support that actually fits your child, your situation, and your values.
In our work together, I help you:
Understand what may be driving your child’s behavior
Look at what you’ve already tried without judgment or blame
Develop clear, consistent expectations and boundaries
Learn when to reinforce positive behavior and how to respond effectively
The goal isn’t perfection, it’s creating a home dynamic that feels more respectful, steady and manageable.
Why Work With Me
With over 25 years of experience working with children, families, and parents, I bring both clinical insight and real-world perspective into our work.
In sessions, I offer direct and practical guidance to:
Help remove the shame and self-doubt that can come with parenting struggles
Focus on solutions that are realistic and sustainable
Help you build confidence in your role as a parent
You don’t have to figure things out alone.
What This Can Change
As we work together, many parents begin to notice:
• More clarity in how to respond to challenging behaviors
• Greater consistency and confidence in their parenting
• Less frustration and second-guessing
• A stronger, more connected relationship with their child
Small shifts in approach can create meaningful change over time.
A Note About Virtual Sessions for Young Children
Because sessions are conducted virtually, I don’t typically meet one-on-one with very young children, as this format isn’t always the most effective for them.
Instead, I work directly with parents because you are the most important influence in your child’s life.
If your child would benefit more from in-person play therapy or a specialized approach, I’m happy to help guide you toward appropriate resources. We can also discuss whether virtual sessions may be a good fit for your specific situation.
Take the First Step
If parenting has started to feel more overwhelming than rewarding, support can make a meaningful difference.
Parenting is too important to keep pushing through without guidance that actually helps.
